Peepsie in the Kitchen June 18th

After our trip out to country kitchen, Jonathan was convinced he could outshine the cooks there. YUM bacon, grits, hash browns, english muffins, egg over easy, and blackberries and a million pots to wash. He did it all.

Jonathan loves a Baguette with DInner

We frequently have left over bread from dinner - just a little too crusty for a sandwich the next day, One of our favorite ways to use this bread is in French Toast. Simply slice it, soak it in 2-3 eggs + T. of water and cook over medium heat until brown on both sides. Spread with a little butter & warm maple syrup, serve with some bacon and fresh fruit and you have a simple breakfast and a beautiful one to enjoy on the porch at Riverbank.
